Undertaking of several large certification & practice projects of green buildings 
The project of Global 500 headquarters that is undertaken has won the gold award of LEED-NC for its integrated design and management of buildings, parks and green certification. The Hohhot Jintai Liwan Project, with 6 years efforts to whole process control, won the silver certification of LEED-NDv2009 (community development system) in March 2015, and became China’s first and World’s third project that has obtained the final certification of LEED-NDv2009 at that time.

  • Development Background
Green buildings refer to the buildings that can maximally save energy, land, water and materials, protect environment and reduce pollution; provide healthy, suitable and efficient service place; and live harmoniously with nature within its whole life cycle. 
The green building industry takes “resources conservation, environment optimization” as its purpose. It now has relatively mature technical reserve and is capable of entering the period of fast development. 
The green building industry now has satisfied sufficient policies, social economic development level and enough reserve of technical equipment, and begins entering the period of fast development. 

The State Council published, on January 6, 2013, the Notice of General Office of the State Council on Re-issuing the Green Building Action Plan of Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, in which the goal of construction of new green building covering 1,000,000,000m2 during the period of the twelfth-five-year plan, and that of enabling 20% new urban buildings to meet standards of green building at the end of 2015 were proposed. In addition, it also defined the scheme and policy support for green buildings during the period of the twelfth-five-year plan. 
China’s green building construction now entered the era of scale development. During the period of the twelfth-five-year plan, it is planned to construct new green buildings that cover 1,000,000,000m2; and enable 20% new urban buildings to meet standards of green building at the end of 2015.
